The romantic air spa town Sieber is located in the southern part of the Harz embedded in marvellous countryside. The location of the town is away from popular tourist paths and through traffic roads, between Herzberg at the Harz and the mountain city of St.Andreasberg. In and around Sieber you find cross country ski tracks where you can enjoy this sport. Directly in front of your door step you find a tobogganing slope for all children large and small.

The church of St. Benedictus in Sieber was built in the year 1887. The name was given most probably to the church by the monks of Pöhlde, who supported the poor settlers and miners of Sieber, spiritually and financially. On the altar in the church there are 4 pictures from the old testament.
